French and EnglishThe second year of the Physics Department is part of the selective IJC-ENS Paris Saclay program. This program is open exclusively to students enrolled in the ENS program. Applicants must therefore be in their second year of study in the Physics Department at ENS Paris-Saclay and be enrolled in the ENS Paris-Saclay degree program.
The IJC Master’s 1 (M1) in Physics at ENS Paris-Saclay is structured around shared coursework with the second year of the Master’s program in Fundamental Physics at Paris-Saclay University. It is a generalist program, as it includes courses in a wide range of fields within physics. However, it is highly flexible, meaning that course selections can vary greatly from one student to another, and it allows each student to begin the specialization of their choice.
